DCElectric is owned and operated by me, David Clouse, a resident of Pittsboro, North Carolina for over 40 years. I have a North Carolina electrician’s license and thirty years of experience in the area as a qualified electrician and low-voltage technician. My experience includes work with Honeywell, DuPont, Procter & Gamble, UNC Hospitals, and various universities. I specialize in personalized, high-quality work for clients who appreciate good service.

Guaranteeing Quality
In order to offer the most efficient service and quality workmanship, I:
• Do not work in manufactured single or double-wide homes;
• Do not accept general contractor work;
• Accept new construction electrical wiring installation for residential & commercial sites only if qualified labor is available;
• Require a signed contract for electrical rendered services of $2500 and higher
Travel Area and Hours
I work within a roughly 25-mile radius around Pittsboro, North Carolina, where my business is based. Many of my clients live in local developments such as Fearrington, Briar Chapel, The Preserve, The Legacy, and The Governors Club. We accept jobs in Chapel Hill, Siler City, Bear Creek and other surrounding areas. Work at more distant sites will require an additional travel fee.
Monday through Thursday: 10am until work is finished
Friday: Reserved for estimates, job walk-throughs, and materials research and sourcing
Weekends: Closed

Residential
HOURLY
• One man, licenced electrician: $185/hr
• Two-man, licensed electrician and qualified apprentice: $225/hr
FLAT RATE
• Eight-hour work day. Includes truck travel and two technicians: $1775.00 (save $10/hr)
• Four-hour work day. Includes truck travel and two technicians: $915.00 (save $10/hr)
Commercial and Industrial
HOURLY
• One man, licensed electrician: $225/hr
• Two man, licensed electrician & qualified apprentice: $265/hr
FLAT RATE
• Eight-hour workday. Includes truck travel and two technicians: $2175.00
• Four-hour workday. Includes truck travel and two technicians: $1115.00
